Proposal

Amstetten is looking forward to a new system of urban development, economic and industrial growth that includes urban and social concerns in order to regenerate underused areas, but also to attract new inhabitants and businesses.

Actions

We envisage an urban development model in which local government would be the first actor to act, through the following creations:

-A wall path + connection path

-Public places containing public programs

-A public entity to manage the resulting public space and promotions

Paradigm shift

The city council will become the administrator and economic partner of the operations sponsored by the master plan, thus disappearing the traditional figure of the promoter and any speculation.
This continuous adaptive development is layered, adding or inserting new elements as demands change over time.
