– Special Mention
– Collective exhibition EUROPAN 12 The adaptable young urban strategies at Rathausgalerie (Amstetten), 2014

Amstetten yearns for a new urban development system, an economic and industrial growth that includes urban and social concerns to regenerate underused areas, but also serve as an attractor for new inhabitants and businesses. We envisage a model of urban development in which local government would be the first player to act, through the following creations:

-A wall+connecting path
-Public squares containing public programs
-A public entity to manage the resulting public space and developments

The city council will become the administrator and economic partner of the operations auspiced by the masterplan, so the traditional figure of the developer and any speculation disappear.
This ongoing adaptative development is layered, adding or inserting new elements as demands change over time.
